In Joe's boot camp classes you get a hard, intense workout in a short amount of time. My muscles defiantly feel sore after the workout and a few days after. For me, that's a sign of a good workout. Joes Bootcamp at Snap Fitness is the absoulute greatest class I have ever been in! He makes it fun but tough... The best part about Bootcamp is the results you will see in such a short time. Joe's Bootcamps are very intense workouts. I started the gym after nearly seven months of horrible back pain and chiropractor visits up to four times a week; I was always in pain. At bootcamp I have learned how to use weight machines, exercise with water balls, and even worked on clapping pushups. Since starting bootcamps I have been chiropractor free! Joe is aa great motivator. I have never been a part of a fitness program, and now am beginning my third month at the gym. I would recommend boot camps to anyone who is looking for a more fit body fast!

I have been working out very intensely for the last 3 1/2 years--have lost over 165lbs.--so to say that I take fitness seriously is an understatement--The bootcamps with Joe have been keeping me on track--keeping my cardio levels at the best they can be--so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fitness buff, these classes are fun, fast and will keep you breathing hard. What I like most is that I can push myself as hard as I want, I am only in competition with myself with Joe and the other bootcampers acting as facilitators--you get out of it as much as you put in--so these are definitely worth checking into!

All classes are taught at the 13th Avenue Snap Fitness. We are located on the west end of the Applebee's stripmall across the street of Lowes and Wal-Mart.

A note from your trainer:
I've noticed a trend in the local fitness industry- all the personal trainers were doing the exact same thing, with very few results. I decided something needed to change!

Personal training is overpriced & misunderstood. Personal Training is ineffective because clients couldn't afford enough sessions to get the results they desired. They are expected to workout on their own between sessions. They are expected to workout with the same intensity as their personal training session, but we all know that never happens. Results are not measured correctly. Everyone is lasered focused on weight and body fat, meanwhile chronic back pain and other issues often neglected in personal training.

Common Questions


Is this like a military bootcamp?
No, not at all. We are a mostly indoors class.(an occasional trip outside) You won't hear any whistles, just good music and motivation from the trainers.


Do I need to be a member of the gym to be in bootcamp?
No, you will never be obligated to purchase a gym membership. However, we have negotiated a special rate with our host gym that bootcamp members can take advantage of if they desire.


What types of members are in bootcamps?
Most of our members are females between the ages of 18 - 54. We have a wide variety exercise levels, so whether your a pure beginner looking to get started or an advanced exerciser looking to get your butt kicked, we have a solution for you!


Do you offer punch cards?
Yes, our basic package buys you 8 bootcamps a month. Any unused classes roll over to the following month. We do, however, require a monthly purchase of 8 classes a month. We recommend at least two bootcamp classes per week to get the good results.


I'm an absolute beginner, will these classes be hard?
In just a few classes you will get the hang of it. Our type of classes allows you to pace yourself as needed. Also, you are always under the watchful eye of one of our trainers, so we are there if you need us.


I'm currently or plan to train for a marathon, can I still join?
Yes, absolutely. The type of interval training you see at FM Bootcamps is perfect for the cross training you should be including in your running preparation.


What if I join and it's not for me?
Hey, it happens. This is why we offer our first month for free. We encourage everyone interested to at least try it. It's very addictive! But, if it's not for you, we will gladly give you a refund.
